I am new and know nothing about this business venture. I think, if I am correct being an affiliate is you are selling something on-line to the on-line public. And then you receive a commission for your sale. What I would like to know is after joining WA and studying their programs, you are set up and ready to go, where do you go to find products to promote and sell? And how do you know what products to promote? Is it like guessing , such as I think this product sounds like it ought to sell well and so on… please answer this one question. T hanks Jack. Needless to say, I was blown away pretty quickly. Even by signing up for their free membership option, it was very apparent that Wealthy Affiliate does things differently. The community, recorded training, live ongoing weekly training sessions, live chat and support options, and business-like approach for beginners to pros alike really blew my mind.

One of the reasons I like Wealthy Affiliate is because it enables me to provide this blog for free to people, but also be able to sell a genuinely high-quality product that I know is always updated and provides a better service than I ever could. Plus, when people sign up using my affiliate link, I can still provide one-on-one coaching and support as a way to add value and as a “thank you” for signing up using my link. Wealthy Affiliate truly is a win-win-win setup.
If you do decide to promote Wealthy Affiliate, there are additional perks. That depends on your experience, budget, and goals. WordPress has a steeper learning curve and requires more maintenance. But over the long-term, it offers much more versatility and options to grow. If you self-host WordPress (rather than use WordPress.com), it can also be much cheaper than Wix. Wix focuses on onboarding and pure ease of use for someone who wants a solid, maintenance-free website without the frustration of a web designer or figuring out HTML issues.

Note that this is all from the default setup – Wix has a new product called “Wix Code” – my take on that product is beyond the scope of this review. My disadvantages listed below are from the perspective of a small business owner who is looking to use Wix and might one day call someone like me or a developer friend to help with website marketing or development.

It’s a constant learning process Shahbaz. And, you can work on the courses at your own convenience. Some people take 3 months to complete and some takes a year. It’s really up to you. Well the course teaches you how to make money, and some people took a week to earn their first dollar, some people took 3 to 4 months (I did), some took 6 to 12 months and some don’t make any money.
And finally, I find that it is almost too easy to communicate with people! I love helping people and meeting new people in the industry, but as a successful affiliate marketer, I do get bombarded with so many questions from people I don’t even know. For that reason, I try to keep my responses prioritized by always responding to those who I referred through my affiliate link. Heck, they helped me earn a few bucks, so why shouldn’t they get priority? While this system works, I do sometimes feel bad at my super late response times for many of those trying to get some help.

There are seemingly thousands of different ways to build a website now. Wix is one of the best-known brands in the website builder product type. They’ve been around for quite a while (circa 2006), and have built a large word-of-mouth brand. I recently had a small project, and a reason to try out several drag and drop website builders. This shift comes as the company has deprioritized television — save for its annual Super Bowl campaign — over the last two years with Wix.com spending the majority of its marketing dollars on digital, moving away from TV almost entirely.
