I became a full-time internet Entrepreneur in 2014 through lead generation. (Still My #1 Recommendation) A form of digital marketing for local businesses. I've also created 6-figure businesses with Amazon FBA, Shopify Dropshipping & Affiliate Marketing. I'm passionate about exploring the best ways to make money online. I've invested in numerous courses which I've done reviews of on this site. In 2019, I spoke on stage in Las Vegas in front of thousands about how to create passive income by ranking page 1 in Google & generating free traffic. Learn More.
This Wealthy Affiliate review was initially posted in 2017, but I like to update it as the years go on. Wealthy Affiliate has never been better than it is right now in 2019. Last year was absolutely AMAZING for me in terms of Wealthy Affiliate sales and commissions. Check out the below screenshot of my Wealthy Affiliate earnings over the past 12 months. Path #2: To leverage on a business that is already setup, just like MOBE. These programs offer you a license to promote their products when you buy them, and you can potentially earn a lot of money when someone signs up through your affiliate link. To make money with them, you’ll only need to drive high quality traffic to their business, and the business will take care of everything. Problem is, as a beginner, you will not know how to attract the right traffic, and that’s where most people fail (because they don’t have the fundamental knowledge about Internet Marketing). That is why I always recommend to start from Path #1, because you will learn the entire game of Internet Marketing from ground up.
Thanks for the informative article! I’m just wondering since I signed up for some course in the past but they required more time time investment than I expected. As I have some other personals goals so I’m just wondering as you said it takes few weeks to get things up and running, but getting commission is different story. So what is required after having website done to get commission? and How long would that take? and how much time does it take to for regular maintenance? Thanks so much!

I understand that WA has a built in solution to this — promote WA. That in itself is a business one can passionately dedicate himself to. This seems to be an excellent idea initially. But then we have to contend with the fact that there may be tens of thousands of WA affiliates who are in the same boat and who have nothing more to promote than WA itself. There is already a glut in this niche. That’s the reason why every time we do a search for product reviews, we almost ALWAYS end up with a product review done by a WA affiliate who is reviewing the product as a way to lead the visitor to joining WA as the better alternative to the business or product the visitor is researching on.

Wealthy Affiliate is built specifically for beginners, which means that it will guide you through selecting a niche and building an online business from scratch. The training is well structured so you won’t feel stuck or overwhelmed. You don’t have to worry a bit about not having a niche or any experience, because the course will guide you through it.

You know this one already. You include links to products you are promoting as an affiliate and every time somebody buys the product, you get a commission. With a blog, you can integrate advertising with content to make it even more likely you’ll get the sale. For example, you could do a product review—which is useful content—and then include a link to buy the product under an affiliate link.
I won’t recommend you to Wealthy Affiliate if your intention is to promote your own products. Wealthy Affiliate is focused on teaching people how to promote other people’s products. For promoting your own products, I recommend that you learn specific skillsets like Copywriting and Facebook Advertising, and both of which Lurn provides (Click on the links above to read the reviews).

If you have the expertise or a passion or interest for a subject, you're ready to start making money with a blog. With a service like Blogger (www.blogger.com), you can start up your blog totally free. You can also create your own site and secure your own hosting for a low price, which is generally the route I recommend, as many free blogging sites have restrictions on what you can say or do, including making money or advertising.
