I wouldn’t say you can’t be successful with a free domain, for example barenakedscam.siterubix.com, but having a personal domain will definitely help with branding and makes it more credible, plus there’s no restriction on the design if its your own domain. Free domains have certain restrictions in terms of the customization of the look and feel of the website.

I’m exploring building an online business and it seems to me, a lot of the success depends on really being able to generate qualified traffic to your opt-in page to build a subscribers list to begin with. For some reason, this aspect of the business is somewhat skipped through and not much information is given about it.
I have just started WA and to anybody who is considering this, it has ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that you need to succeed in affiliate marketing, but it comes with a catch….there is a ton you have to learn. 50 lessons in all. Think of this as going to school to learn a trade. From what I hear on the WA chat, you might make a full time living at it in one, two years or never. The advantage is that it’s a dirt cheap career. But no short cuts here. You gotta work at it, part time, full time, off and on like a lot of people, but everything you need is there. It’s all up to you. The only limitation, the only unknown factor IS YOU.
In the long-term, it affects your versatility, functionality, and, of course, your brand. In the short term, it can certainly add/take away a lot of headaches. That said, just like choosing a physical house or office, there is no such thing as an absolute “best” or “top” choice. There’s only the right choice relative to your goals, experience, and circumstances.
